An important message for trail users and supporters:
The B&O Trail Association is actively monitoring the current global health crisis related to COVID-19 along with all Federal, state & local recommendations. We encourage everyone to do the same, as things can change from day to day.
First and foremost, the trail is OPEN! We encourage trail users to continue to get exercise, fresh air and to disconnect from the rigors of whatever challenges you are personally facing. If you are feeling sick, please stay home but, if you use the trail, please adhere to CDC guidelines of social distancing and respect others around you who are doing the same.
We are working with our numerous partners and sponsors to formulate contingencies for the June 6th B&O Bicycle Tour event. No firm decisions have been made yet so please stay in touch with us via social media for the latest. We will also communicate directly with anyone who has registered for the event.
The Geocache CITO (Cache In, Trash Out) Event scheduled for April 18th has been postponed. No new date has been determined yet. The Birding Big Sit scheduled for May 9th is still on schedule but social distancing guidelines will be enforced for this event at the White Lick Creek Bridge.
In the meantime, stay healthy and thank you for your support. Enjoy the trail!
